These are our #Photographs from the "Stop Arming Israel Sanctions Now" Protest held at Forrest Place in Perth, Western Australia on the 8 June 2024 organised by Friends of Palestine WA, Students for Palestine WA and Unionists for Palestine WA.
Thanks to Allah that there was no rain at this event which made collecting photographs possible. According to our camera shy friend, Leena, there was a lot of people at the event. All the tables and chairs at the side of the Plaza were full and the Old Post Office Building steps had people seated or standing on them so it is good to see Perth getting out to support a Free Palestine.
We saw many familiar faces including heaps from Perth's Ummah including Al Rafeeq which was very heartening! The Rally speakers delivered rousing messages and dropped some truth bombs on the Australian Government's growing Arms Selling Industry, which were very well received by the crowd.
It's important to remember that #BoycottIsrael is one of the best strategies available to grassroots people so remember to check labels and avoid products that are Made in Israel!

That includes Ears because we've been reading too many conspiracy novels! Of course there are some folks who we know will let us take their photograph so we're happy to include them if we see them in the background!
James is often happy to have a photograph taken, however, photographers must ask first or they risk never being able to get consent for future photographs. While we're on the subject of #Boycotts, because it's 2024, Yes, there are People that James will never photograph and certain People and Publications who he will never consent to be photographed by!
Remember that one of the ways that a #FreePalestine will be achieved is through the #BoycottIsrael Campaign. #BoycottBagels, read the labels on food products and don't buy products made by the Jewish State in Occupied Palestine.
We should also be making sure that we do not spend our money on services or products from Organisations or Businesses which support the ongoing Occupation of Al Quds and Genocide of the Palestinian People.
