This is a digression from our usual content, however, we found this #Gill #FamilyTree Information in the CADT Archives and we would like to make it available to family tree researchers.
We know that doing your own family tree research is a arduous and expensive business requiring the ability to navigate history and ancestry methodologies, so we are hoping this will save some amateur historians some time and money.
To summarise, The information is focused on the Gill Family whose origins are in Devon England and who emigrated to Australia going first to South Australia and then in 1896 they arrived in Kulyalling, Western Australia where they were farmers and post office owners.
Sydney Charles Gill, 1873-1935, then married Elsie Eliza Murfit in 1900 and they began a family together. The information also covers the Murfit family and their descendents and it was compiled by Pamela Mae Gill Shulze and photographed by James Rendell, the Grandson of Howard James Gill and son of Sydney Charles Gill, at Albany in 2001.
