These are photographs taken at the Free Palestine Rally held in August 2013. This Peaceful Rally was marked by a huge display of force by the State Government of Western Australia in support of the State of Israel.
There was a confrontational attitude between the Police and the Peaceful Protesters was tense. It was most marked when the Children's die in was surrounded by Police with guns.
The Police clearly had Officers whose job it was to take photographs of attendees and this included videoing of the crowd. Fortunately, the criticism from the Community and the weight of public opinion in support of Palestinian People forced the State Government's Pro Israel Politicians to relax their enforcement orders.
